Built in 1995, Sacred Hill’s winery is one of Hawke's Bay’s most efficient and advanced wine production facilities. The use of state-of-the-art technology to attain consistent quality and cost effectiveness is a key component of Sacred Hill's wine production strategy. The Hawke’s Bay winery was built with excess capacity to accommodate Sacred Hill’s anticipated growth.
A combination of old world and new world practices has been adopted by Sacred Hill’s viticulture and winemaking teams. Quality has never been sacrificed to achieve growth in volume – a philosophy that has done much to build and maintain Sacred Hill’s enviable reputation

SACRED HILL – Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
This Hawke’s Bay wine has delicate aromas of peach, nutty nougat characters and hints of citrus blossom. It has a creamy delicious palate with strong peach, melon and nougat flavours. This is a very smooth textured wine with a long and elegant finish of citrus fruit.
SACRED HILL – Basket Press Merlot/Cabernet
This wine has a richly scented dark berry and plum aroma with complex fruitcake richness and resonating depth. Densely structured with subtle tannin on the finish, this wine has a palate of rich plums and spice with the flavour of French oak coming through on the finish.
