The Farmgate Wines have been crafted by winemaker Peter Gough to celebrate what's made locally in Hawke's Bay and the people who make it. Farmgate wines are a celebration - of real people, of the foods they produce and of the region they call home - Hawke's Bay.
Sweet notes of lemon and beeswax on the nose, belying the dry and weighty palate with flavours of lemon and apple. Barrel fermentation in old oak adds complexity and texture without oaky flavour. |
